I shared recently why my family likes to shop small, which you can read about HERE if you missed it. With Christmas on the way, and you know, since I’m a mom, I thought it would be good to share my top ten gifts for moms — ALL from small shops! Go ahead and grab your debit card, put your feet up, and get ready to knock out some shopping for all the moms (or just females) in your life!
1. Mombrain Coffee Mug & T-shirt from AMK Creates
Mombrain. Reheat. Repeat. (dishwasher safe mug) or Mombrain Legit forgetfulness (tee). These two items are perfect for the mom who already has forgotten her kids’ names. Like me. Also available in a variety of shirt and sweatshirt styles and colors. Use code arenseghetti to save on your order.
2. Soaps, Lotions, and Bath Bombs from Faire Lilly Boutique
A bath bomb called Champagne Breakfast or a soap that smells like Gingersnaps? YES PLEASE. The trick here is you have to let mom actually take a bath. Alone. For more than 5 minutes. If you want to make this gift even better, put the bath goodies in a basket with real champagne and gingersnaps and tell her you’re taking ALL the kids to buy groceries for an hour. BEST GIFT EVER.
3. Wine Socks from The Decal Shoppe Inc
My son thinks socks are a terrible gift, but I’m going to have to disagree. These socks were on my list last year, but Santa must’ve forgotten! (Ahem, Arien.) Again, these socks are best when paired with an actual bottle of wine. Gift complete!
While you’re shopping for these socks at The Decal Shoppe Inc, go ahead and check out their other items that are sure to be a hit — labor and delivery socks, hilarious coffee mugs, trucker hats, and more! Use code DECALSHOPPE10 to save.
4. Christmas Sign from Just Be Designs Apparel
I don’t know about you, but I am always adding to my collection of Christmas decor. Sometimes I rotate through different themes, sometimes I’m just tired of old pieces and I get rid of them. Right now I’m on a rustic farmhouse kick, and this adorable tree is just begging to be in my house! And for only $15, it’s almost impossible to pass up. Hurry and go buy it before I do.
5. Mama Chevron Wooden Necklace from North Idaho Made
I have to cheat on this one a little bit. I found this shop because a friend mentioned this necklace to me, and I love it. But when I visited their website, I was actually in AWE of their 3-D engraved maps. So I’m including this beautiful necklace in my gift guide for mamas, but I really want you all to go look at their maps. And for as beautiful and amazing as they are, they are affordable!!
6. Coffee Mug from Amelia June & Co.
Amelia June & Co is one of my favorite shops on Etsy, y’all. I don’t own this mug yet, but I do own one that says, “This might be wine.” And well, when I’m not pregnant, it really might be true. And I know many of my mama friends run on coffee and cuss words, so this mug is super relevant. Wrap this up with a bag of coffee or a Starbucks gift card.
7. #Momming Canvas Tote from Shop Kindred Together
These durable canvas totes are perfect for mom to throw all her stuff (and her kids’ junk too) in for a quick trip out. Two zippered pockets inside help her keep important things from getting lost in the floor of her van. And BONUS – this bag will hold ALL OF THE OTHER ITEMS in this gift guide! What! It’s like a gift AND a gift bag in one. Haha! Genius idea.
8. Scarves from Frou Frou & Frill
We don’t have to play games. We all know moms live in stretchy pants and milk-stained shirts. But sometimes throwing our hair in a messy bun and wrapping a scarf around our neck (to hide the spit-up) makes us feel a little human again. Check out the scarves from Frou Frou & Frill (kind of loving the Jillian plaid myself) and maybe grab a cute bracelet to match while you’re there.
9. Crystal Earring Gift Set from Brooke Ashley
Why buy one pair of earrings for mom, when you can get three? These handmade earrings are just the start. Check out the whole website for adorable handmade rings and pendants as well.
10. Surviving Motherhood Wine Glass fromMom Life Must Haves
I almost posted a cute mason jar here with the same saying, but I went with the stemless wine glass instead. Why? It holds more! Either one would make a great gift for mom… just don’t hand it to her empty.
Which of these is your favorite? I don’t know that I can pick. I want to have them all!
