Hi and welcome to my blog! My name is Amanda. I’m a former special education teacher, and awesome mom to three energetic kids, 16, 8, and 1 year old. I’m also a group fitness instructor for
- spin/indoor cycling
- bootcamp classes
- and I am a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
I enjoy running, reading books, and blogging. I also love chocolate, coffee, wine, fancy beer, and long walks on the beach. Not a big fan of sand though. Ew.
This blog has been a way to document my journey with clean eating and fitness as a new lifestyle. I began my journey in March 2013 so that I could feel better about myself and avoid potential health problems – and I am nowhere close to stopping! I have overcome many bumps in the road, learned lots of tips and tricks, and this is my way of sharing what is working for me and my family.
